Senior Regulatory Analyst
About This Role
EERC is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Analyst to join our Regulation & Market Development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and reviewing regulatory policies, frameworks, and instruments for the Enugu State electricity market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on electricity market regulatory issues
- Develop and review regulatory policies, codes, and standards
- Prepare regulatory submissions, reports, and position papers
- Engage with industry stakeholders on regulatory matters
- Monitor compliance with EERC's regulatory instruments
- Support the tariff review and setting process
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Law, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electricity sector regulation, policy, or advisory roles
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Nigeria's electricity regulatory framework
- Experience with tariff setting and economic regulation is an advantage
