On March 23, 2026, Mainpower Electricity Distribution Commission launched the Landmark Quick Response Service (QRS) at their Okpara Avenue, Enugu, Head Office.

Representing EERC NG Chairman, the Commissioner of Organizational Support, Dr. Chuka Akunne, officially cut the ribbon to unveil this transformative initiative. The QRS is designed to revolutionize fault resolution and customer complaint handling. With a dedicated Quick Response Team (QRT). trained in both technical operations and customer service.

This initiative is a commitment to intentionally reduce response times and elevate customer experience. In his remarks, Dr. Akunne commended the MPEDL team and reaffirmed the Commission’s dedication to excellence, integrity, and safety.

He charged the QRT to see themselves as pioneers of a noble cause, with the opportunity to etch their names in gold through service to the people of Enugu.

He also conveyed the Chairman’s congratulations and assured that the Commission will continue to provide oversight to ensure the success and sustainability of this initiative. This launch marks a bold step toward delivering the quality service that Enugu State consumers deserve, setting a new benchmark for responsiveness and customer care.
