The Enugu State Government, through the Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP), GIZ Nigeria & ECOWAS, is extending by one (1) week its invitation to credible and experienced solar mini-grid developers to submit proposals for innovative and feasible mini-grid projects in Enugu State. The objective remains to expand electricity access in unserved and underserved areas in the state, while fostering a robust renewable energy market in Enugu State.
Project Highlights:
- - Scope: Mini-grids supplying at least 1,500 new customers, with capacity ranging from 0.2MW to 0.6MW.
- - Support: Up to 70–80% capital expenditure (CAPEX) cost covered via in-kind grant support.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:
- - Be incorporated in Nigeria with valid CAC, Tax, PENCOM, NSITF, ITF certificates.
- - Show evidence of experience in mini-grid development.
- - Demonstrate technical and financial viability.
